#36. Patience-Producing Trial

Today was one of those days where my patience was being tested. Where I tried to do things right and they somehow found a way to be wrong. Where I planned things to go a certain way and they didn’t.

It’s not easy to feel like you’re running out of patience. It’s not easy to remain calm when things around you are not working in your favor. It definitely wasn’t easy for me today. But somewhere between my mumbles and sighs and complaints, I knew that this simple trial wasn’t just meant to complicate my life. God takes the time to use these circumstances to make us more like Him.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. -James 1:2-3
